Guest Post: Backyard Escapes

Happy Monday everyone - hope you had a great weekend! today's guest post comes from none other than the lovely Mackenzie from Design Darling! Hi there! I'm Mackenzie from Design Darling and I'm excited to be guest posting for Alex while she's off soaking in the sun! I can't say I'm not a little jealous of the time she'll be lounging poolside so I decided to share some of my favorite backyard pools to remind us all that summer's not so far off!

It doesn't get much prettier than Tory Burch's Southampton estate featured in Vogue. The hedges, the moulding, the trellis... Everything is perfect, not that we'd expect anything less!

What I wouldn't give to be spending the next week underneath this cabana! This Palm Springs beauty is the work of Colombian designer Moises Esquenazi and I'm quite certain it's one of the most stunning spaces I've ever seen.

This backyard was captured by Douglas Friedman (do peruse his celebrity homes portfolio if you're in need of some serious escapism) and has me wanting to grab my stack of unread magazines and head for one of those chaise lounges!
