July Favorites
Between multiple trips and lots of summer plans, this month seemed to fly by! Cannot believe it’s already August. Here are some of my favorites from the past month…
MIRTH SEVILLE CAFTAN DRESS
I love an easy summer dress and MIRTH makes the best ones in the prettiest prints. I have been wearing this caftan style non-stop since it arrived! I love that you can wear it so many ways—dressed up with the belt, more casual without the belt or open over a bathing suit. I’m beyond obsessed with this mini straw bag! It’s the only bag I took with us on our trip to Santa Ynez and I was shocked at how much it can hold without distorting the shape. LOUIS JADOT BEAUJOLAIS WINE
I love love love a chilled red wine and I’ve been drinking this Beaujolais wine for awhile now so I thought I would share! It’s made of Gamay grapes and it’s so light and refreshing, especially when chilled. Bonus points that it’s pretty easy to find and doesn’t break the bank. P.S. This is my wine coaster, which I love for the summer since it catches the condensation and any drips!
SKIMS FITS EVERYBODY UNLINED UNDERWIRE BRA
I asked on instagram what everyone’s favorite everyday bra is and was shocked at how many people were raving about Skims! I had to give them a try and ordered two styles to try from their “fits everybody” line. I ended up keeping the above because I liked the shape better (other one I tried was the triangle). It honestly feels like you are wearing nothing and the fabric is so nice. Unfortunately it’s mostly sold out now (sign up for waitlist!), but I will be purchasing the lined version once it’s back in stock!
LOEFFLER RANDALL YOLANDA BLOUSE
I’ve been loving the ready to wear pieces Loeffler Randall has been putting out and this airy top is truly summer in a top! It’s the most beautiful light peach color in person and the details on it are so well done.
AMAZON THE DROP COURTNEY T-SHIRT
I’ve been on a hunt for a new favorite t-shirt and had heard from a few people that this was one to check out. I bought it using Amazon’s “try before you buy” feature, which is pretty great for things like this. I ended up loving the fit of it—I sized up to a large to get a baggier fit like my favorite Jenni Kayne t-shirt.
THE DEWBERRY CHARLESTON CANDLE AND BODY WASH
We stayed at The Dewberry Hotel on our trip to Charleston this month and I was reminded how incredible their signature scent is, which is burning all throughout the hotel and in all of their bath products. I took as many little bath products as I could fit, but I quickly ordered their candle and body wash because IT’S THAT GOOD! They describe the scent as “as blend of Bulgarian rose, coastal botanicals, French myrrh, sandalwood and exotic spice, inspired by the southern dewberry plant.”
