August Favorites
I feel like I write this every month, but truly, where is the time going?! Summer has flown by and I am so so grateful that it lasts for a few more months out here. August was a busy month with a few weekends away, but I had some great discoveries this month…
JANESSA LEONE FELIX HAT
I’ve been wearing this hat constantly whenever we are out in the sun and it’s quickly become my favorite hat. I love the unique shape and that it’s brown (I have the now sold out chocolate color).
ANDIE SWIM amalfi RIBBED SWIMSUIT
I was gifted this bathing suit (although I definitely would have purchased it!) and it’s such a perfect classic black swimsuit! So easy to wear—adjustable straps, removable padding, and they also make it in long torso if you’re on the taller side.
CORE CLUB PILATES RESISTANCE BANDS
I’ve been getting back into a routine doing my Melissa Wood Health pilates workouts almost every day and wanted to add in bands for an extra challenge. I got this set from Core Club and love the 3 different strengths and of course their chic neutral colors.
POLDINA OUTDOOR RECHARGEABLE LIGHT
I was so excited to receive a set of these outdoor / indoor rechargeable lamps! I’ve admired them for a long time and they are perfect for our backyard, which doesn’t have much built in lighting at the moment. They come in a bunch of colors and can be used both outdoors and indoors.
crane & co monarch correspondence cards
I love taking the time to write someone a handwritten note and was excited to partner with Crane & Co. I selected these Monarch Correspondence Cards—I love the chic longer style of the card. I switched up the font to an outline style and added a black liner to the envelope. Time to write some notes!
SHANI DARDEN RETINOL REFORM
I had been on the hunt for a new retinol serum to use at night and came across this cult-favorite from Shani Darden. I am so impressed by it—my skin feels so amazing after using it. Noticeably smoother and glowier!
HAVIANAS FLIP FLOPS
I was influenced by Danish sisters Amalie and Cecilie to buy a pair of these classic black flip flops and have been wearing them constantly since they arrived. I love the way the sisters pair them with chic outfits, adding just a hint of casualness. They wear them with everything from jeans and a sweater to silk slipdresses!
KRISTIN ESS MICELLAR SHAMPOO
I use micellar water to remove my makeup and was intrigued when I saw this shampoo at Target. I love Kristin Ess’ products so decided to try it out. It really helps get rid of buildup in your hair (especially if you’re like me and only wash a few times a week and use dry shampoo) while being super gentle and moisturizing.
