Currently

It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks for me—we moved out of our house for skimcoating and painting, moved back in, hosted one of my dear friends for a couple nights and now we are heading back to the east coast for a week with family! Here’s a little glimpse into what I’ve been up to…

Wearing…

I’m all about easy dresses during the warm summer months and have been wearing this printed dress nonstop. Mango has so many good dresses right now—I love this blue dress, this linen wrap dress and this gingham dress.

Gardening…

Our garden is exploding right now and I cannot get enough of our cosmos! I used seeds from Floret and followed all of her videos for pinching and have been amazed at how many blooms we have, and they just keep multiplying! Their tall skinny stems dancing in the wind makes me so happy whenever I’m outside. Our tomatoes are also fully out of control—we have so many to harvest when we get back next week!

Decorating…

As I mentioned, we just finished the skim coating and painting of our walls and it’s made such a huge difference! We’re so happy with it. Over the weekend we were able to hang our Everhem woven wood shades in the living room and linen roman shades in the guest room/office. Window treatments really make such a big difference in a room. I am in love with our blue sheers we hung in the living room for a bit of color. And we got some pillows back from the upholsterer—it’s all starting to come together!

I have an obsession with tabletop items and especially glassware—I can’t get enough! I have been on the hunt for some etched glasses and I love these blue ones!

Inspired By…

When my friend was visiting, we went all over town popping into so many shops and it was so inspiring! It’s so fun to be back shopping in person again. I also can’t stop thinking about Suzanne Rheinstein’s house and am coveting her decor books to learn even more about her interiors. I love how refined and comfortable her interiors are—something I am always aspiring to!
