I hope you all had a relaxing holiday! I had a really nice, very much needed break. It was both relaxing and productive, and I’m looking forward to the new year and fresh start!

Thank you all who took my blog survey! (If you haven’t, feel free to!) I so appreciate all of your feedback and use it to shape the content here. I was so happy to hear that so many of you love the new series I’ve started this year—Monthly Favorites, Vintage Tips and Spotlight. Will definitely be keeping these up as I love putting them together too!

Coveting
My love of Birkenstocks is no secret around here…I’ve been coveting these shearling lined sandals for years, but they finally feel more appropriate for me to get now that we are in LA.

Decorating
I’m in the process of working on the layout and design of our living room (more to come on this!) and am finding a lot of inspiration in the above images. I love the warmth and comfort of these spaces. I’m also eyeing this striped natural rug for our kitchen—I love the play on a classic natural fiber rug.

Trying
Ever since March, I’ve been slowly growing out my keratin treatment and letting my hair do it’s natural wave. I’ve been experimenting with different products (current favorite is this leave-in conditioner) and just ordered some things to try from Crown Affair. I bought The Oil, The Comb No. 001, and The Towel. I’ve heard amazing things so I will report back after I’ve tried them for a bit!

Organizing
We did a lot of unpacking & organizing over the break and it feels so good to have more things in their places! I want to pick up some of these baskets for organizing in our closets and the pantry.

Planning
I shared on Instagram that I got a new planner for this year from Appointed. I haven’t used a physical planner in ages, but I’ve been needing a way to organize all of my tasks and priorities each week and love that this gives me the space to do that. It also has room for monthly goals and extra pages for notes. The planners by Golden Coil seem really great too—very customizable for whatever your needs might be!

Wearing
I started wearing Bombas socks last winter and they are by far my favorite socks. I especially love their quarter socks and wear them every day around the house. They’re super comfortable and have held up really, really well from lots of washing and drying. I also love their mission—for every pair purchased, they donate a pair to people in need.
