I hope you all had a relaxing holiday! We are home from California and had a great time seeing family & friends in Los Angeles. We then went on our own little trip up the coast through Big Sur and Carmel (more on our trip coming soon). Now it’s back to NYC and back to winter!
Thanking
I am so so appreciative to all of you who took my blog survey—thank you! (If you haven’t, you still can!) I’m excited to bring more posts to you this year and hearing your input on what you want to see is invaluable. I’ve been keeping a list of your ideas so stay tuned!
Coveting
All things denim! No surprise there. I’m on the hunt for some new jeans and all roads keep leading to Goldsign denim. I saw them pop up on a few people and suddenly I’m seeing them everywhere! I’m eyeing their Cropped A fit and the Nineties fit after my friend Nicole raved about them.
Decorating
I’m in the mood to switch some things up in our apartment and bought a few things this weekend from Target of all places! I’ve been wanting a new mirror foreverrrrr and finally got this brass one for over our bedroom door. Dreaming of the day we’ll have space for a big floor mirror. I also got some new woven baskets for storing odds & ends and a new rug for our kitchen.
Polishing
98% of the time I get my nails done, I get either my favorite nude or a barely there white (tip: looks like your natural nail if you only use one coat!). But I recently decided to switch it up and got a deep chocolate color and am obsessed with it. It feels unique, but also not far off from my typical colors.
Burning
I love finding new candles to burn at home and I just got this one over the weekend. Described as “warm woods”, it’s a cozy scent that isn’t overpowering, and it smells remarkably similar to Le Labo Santal 33.
Writing
More notes and cards thanks to my new stationery from Jayme’s Paper. Truly filling a void in the stationery world—elevated, simple designs in beautiful natural tones. Check it out!
Staying warm in
My new puffer from Tory Sport. I’d been eyeing this coat for awhile (green is my favorite color as of late) and bought it immediately after trying on my coworkers’. It’s nice to have something that isn’t long and black to break things up during the winter! It’s made from a satin-like material that feels super luxe and cozy—like being wrapped up in your favorite duvet.
