After a (very) long break from this space, I’ve decided it was time to finally come back! I asked a lot of you on instagram what you’d like to see here and it was so helpful! I’m excited to start incorporating into future posts.

Here’s what I’m currently up to…

Reading:
The White Album by Joan Didion. I am a big fan of Joan Didion (make sure to watch her doc on Netflix!), but somehow had never read The White Album. I started reading it before Thanksgiving to gain some background before seeing a performance of the title essay this weekend at BAM. I’m hoping the performance expands and goes to more cities. I highly recommend seeing it if you’re able!

Painting:
Our apartment! After 6 years in the same space with basic builder’s paint, we’ve decided to repaint and freshen up our apartment. We are excited to be partnering with Clare, a newcomer to the paint scene. I’m obsessed with their peel & stick paint samples, which made it so easy to choose a color! You peel and stick them on your wall and can move them around from room to room and see them in different lighting — so smart.

Following:
Nadine Jane Astrology. I’ve been getting more and more into astrology lately and I love Nadine’s instagram account — it’s so beautifully designed and incredibly thoughtful. She puts together amazing imagery to go with each of her posts and I always look forward to seeing my monthly mantra. She just recently started an email subscription so now you can get your monthly horoscope in your inbox!

Coveting:
I’ve been on the hunt for a great pair of straight leg jeans in a medium wash and am hoping these AGOLDE jeans will be perfect! I’ve heard great things about AGOLDE jeans so I’m excited to try.
