Greenery in the Park

Today was spent running errands and grocery shopping. After a much needed afternoon nap I decided to stroll through the parks that are near me: Stuyvesant Square (right across the street!) and Union Square. I love the break from the repetitive buildings and the calm atmosphere that can be found in city parks. Here is a close-up of some hasta plants. I love the patterns on their leaves and the shadows cast by their overlapping leaves.
